A couple of days ago, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were ousted from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They were replaced by Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani on the show. The replacement came as a huge shocker to the audience. Fans were not ready to believe it until the makers dropped an official video of the new Armaan and new Ruhi from the show. Shruti Ulfat previously reacted to the news saying that it would be a lesson for all the actors. And now, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress has talked about what went down on that fateful day.

Shruti Ulfat reveals how Shehada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were informed about their termination
Shruti Ulfat who plays Vidya Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently sat down for an interview wherein she spoke about the day when Rajan Shahi asked Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmkhe to leave the show. Shruti reveals that they were informed that the producer wanted to meet everyone and that they were going to discuss how the IPL is coming up and how everyone has to work together to make the show a success as a unit. The actress says that they were all chatting about the same and then all of a sudden, he called everyone together, the entire unit set and started talking about how they look at the actors, finding out about their attitude, their temperament and their nature is so that the atmosphere on set is good. They still did not think that he was going to do it. Shruti then reveals that Rajan Shahi suddenly told Shehzada Dhami that he could just leave the set and that his termination letter would be sent to him. Shahi informed him in front of everyone that his services were no longer required. “We don’t know what was happening. We were dumbstruck and wondering ‘ye kya ho raha hai?'” She says everyone would be thinking about what did just happen. After that, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai producer informed them that a new actor had come and that was for Pratiksha. He told her that her services were also no required and asked her to leave the set in 10-15 minutes. The actress reveals they knew about some mock shoot but were told that it was for some other show.

Shruti Ulfat talks about professionalism
The interviewer asked Shruti about her thoughts that Pratiksha Honmukhe and Shehzada Dhami should have been more careful. Actress agrees and adds that one should do their work diligently. She says that the person is working together as a unit for the show, not for oneself but for the show. “Show hai to aap hai,” she says while adding that if one does not respect the platform (opportunity) then the makers won’t regard them either.
