Well, Chandu Champion is all set to create records at the box office and the film is expected to make a solid opening. Yes, you read that right! Chandu Champion to break records and to set new ones?
Taran Adarsh told India Today that the buzz is not as much as it should be, but he said that it is a biopic and not a masala film. He further continued by saying that there is a difference between a Kartik Aaryan in Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Taran also said that Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is all set to hit the ball out of the park. He said that Chandu Champion is a film that needs to be nurtured and biopics take time to grow. He even said that if the film is worth it, then it will catch on.

Taran added saying that he hopes that the film works at the box office because it’s a big film, and it is coming after the summer vacation. He also predicted day 1 collection and said that the film should be between Rs 7 crore to Rs 10 crore, or maybe cross Rs. 100 crore.
Talking about Chandu Champion is a story about a man who won a medal for the country – Murlikant Petkar. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and Kartik took a lot of training in freestyle swimming. He even reduced his weight from 90 kg to 72 kg. The film stars Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Anirudh Dave, Vijay Raaz and Palak Lalwani in crucial roles.
On the work front, Kartik will next be seen in Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which will star Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri, Rajpal Yadav, Madhuri Dixit in important roles. The actor is in talks with Vishal Bhardwaj for the titled Arjun Ustara film which will be shot extensively overseas in Greece.
