The rumour began with the reports suggesting that channel Star Plus is going to monitor the TRPs of the show Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. It is because of the dropping TRPs of the show during of IPL 2024, the channel took the decision to the monitor the shows. Then there were rumours that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will mostly go off air after three months. However, now a report in Filmibeat confirms that the show isn’t going anywhere. A source has confirmed to the portal that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is not going to go off air and the channel has not taken any call related to the show. The recent drop of TRPs has led to a discussion internally in the channel but the call will be taken at the right time.
