Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has landed in trouble again. The show has been through many controversies. Now, we have Palak Sindhwani who accused the makers of mental harassment. This began when the reports of her breaching the contract came out. Later, she said that when wanted to quit and hence the makers played this game of accusing her. She said that they are creating trouble because she decided to quit the show. We saw the makers accused her of violating their contract by doing brand endorsements. Palak has denied these accusations. She said that she was allowed to do brand endorsements by the makers five years ago as per the contract. She received her contract recently in 2024.
Palak Sindhwani suffered panic attacks
She spoke to Pinkvilla and said that many other stars like Munmun Dutta, Mandar Chandwadkar, Sunayana Fozdar and others do brand endorsements but only she was being called out by Asit Kumarr Modi and his team. Palak got to know about the breach of contract when the makers released an official statement. She said that she texted Asit Kummarr Modi when she was unwell.
She wrote in her text, “Sir, physically I am not well, mentally it is adding to my stress. Can you please make me meet someone from your team on an urgent basis?” However, he told her that no one can meet her until September 18. She even told him that she is unable to work while being anxious but he told her that if someone is available, they will meet.
She revealed that Modi asked her to contact the production team Sohail Ramani and Jatin Bajaj even though they had no idea about social or legal terms. She was asked to speak to various people while she was shooting but she never got any help. She said no one was willing to discuss the issue with her before September 18 and she shot for the show for 5-6 days with that anxiety.
She could not accept what happened or could not understand it. She was getting calls from people asking her about the breach of contract. She also got panic attack on sets and that time her brother had called her. At that time, she was shivering and her brother discovered that there was something wrong. He called the company representative and asked him to rush Palak to her room. This is a big story in Entertainment News.
Asit Kumarr Modi threatened Palak Sindhwani
Palak further revealed that the company representative came and saw everything how she was shivering and must have even told Asit Modi but he did not respond. She went through sleepless nights and again texted the producer to clear the issues. She met him on September 18 and she told him that her contract never had the clause that she cannot endorse brands.
He told Palak that every artist has a different contract. Palak added that Asit Kumarr Modi threatened her then. Palak revealed that he threatened her to delete her Instagram. She also went on to say that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah team asked her to provide the details of her past brand endorsements and they hinted that they wanted some share from her brand endorsements.
Palak also said that the production never questioned her for five years but when she decided to leave the show, they started these issues. She received the legal notice from the producer on September 20 at her house. She then took legal help and decided to speak out.
She also added that everyone one the sets has seen the mental torture she went through and how she was treated but nobody will speak out as they are Asit Kumarr Modi’s employees. She said she will now take a one month long break after this trauma and her last working day would be September 30.
