Tanu Weds Manu 3 will be Kangana Ranaut’s next after Emergency? Aanand L Rai shares latest update, ‘It will come but…’

Tanu Weds Manu is a hit franchise. Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan‘s pairing turned out to be simply fantastic. The second instalment of film turned out to be even more better than the first as it had the double dhamaka of Kangana Ranaut. She played dual role in the film and fans totally loved it. Ever since then, fans have been demanding update on Tanu Weds Manu 3. Time and again Kangana has stated that the third instalment is on the cards, however, there were no updates until now. Director Aanand L Rai in a latest interview spilled some beans. In an interview with entertainment news portal Zoom, Aanand L Rai confirmed that Tanu Weds Manu 3 will definitely happen but when is something he does not know. He added that he has cracked something for Tanu Weds Manu 3, however, it will take sometime to materialise. Aanand L Rai but ensured all that the film will happen with Kangana Ranaut only and nobody else. He also spoke about the bond he shares with the actress. He commented that he and Kangana Ranaut bond well and that he loves to have a conversation with her. He also added that Tanu Weds Manu gave him the big success and it has been a journey of four years with Kangana Ranaut making the franchise a hit. Kangana Ranaut was very accepting when he took Tanu Weds Manu franchise to her, added the filmmaker. Well, it looks like the fans will have to wait a little longer than anticipated for the next instalment of Tanu Weds Manu. Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut is looking forward to the release of her upcoming film Emergency. The movie that is based on former Prime Minister of India – Indira Gandhi is currently mired in several controversies. It was supposed to release on September 6 but it did not get a go ahead from the Censor Board. Given that it is based on the controversial period in Indian Politics History – the emergency era – there are several who are apposing to the film’s release citing that it may hurt the sentiments of the audience.
