Recently, a media portal shared the same on Instagram, and the Super 30 star shared her reaction, which was not positive. So what exactly did Mrunal Thakur say about being in love with cricket? Well, during the promotion of her 2022 film Jersey, the actress got candid about liking cricket and Kohli. Mrunal told Etimes that she was madly in love with Virat, and it was because of her brother that she started liking cricket. The actress also talked about her fond memories of watching a match live at a stadium with her brother in the past. Thakur recalled wearing a blue jersey and cheering for Team India. Years later, she is a part of a film based on cricket, and it’s a happy coincidence for her.
Talking about Jersey, the sports drama also starred Shahid Kapoor. Directed by Gowtam Naidu Tinnanuri, it is a remake of the 2019 film of the same name, which stars Nani and Shraddha Srinath.
On the work front, Mrunal Thakur recently made a special appearance in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
