Brenda Michelle was born and raised in Mombasa County, Kenya. She grew up with her four sisters.

She is married to Jacob Otieno alias Jacky B to whom she got married in 2017.

She went to the Moi Girls High School in Nairobi, where she began her education in 2005 and finally did her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination in 2009.

Mishy enrolled at the University of Nairobi to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Chinese language.
