Amongst the names that have been speculated to be a part of Salman Khan’s show, one of them was of actress Shanthi Priya. The actress was Akshay Kumar’s co-star in his Hindi debut film Saugandh, which was released in 1991. For several days, there were reports that Shanthi is going to participate in Bigg Boss 18. Well, the actress has not denied all the rumours. As reported by Times Now, Akshay Kumar’s Saugandh co-star Shanthi Priya had posted an Instagram story denying her participation in the reality show. The actress wrote, “Hey Everyone, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to address the rumors circulating about my participation in Bigg Boss 18 this year. I want to clarify that, despite the speculations, I will not be a part of Bigg Boss 18. I appreciate all the love and support from my fans, but this time around, I have a few things lined up this year, and trust me I won’t disappoint y’all 🙂 Sending you all my love and gratitude for your continued support. Well, it looks like the news of her participation in Bigg Boss 18 were mere rumours. It would be exciting to see who are indeed a part of the controversial reality show this time. Speaking of Shanthi Priya, the actress is known for her performances in movies like Agni, Mere Sajana Saath Nibhana, Pool Aur Angaar, and Meherbaan, to name a few.
Coming to Bigg Boss 18, the theme for this year is called ‘Time Ka Taandav’. Not much is revealed about it, but there are reports of how some previous contestants might appear on the show. The grand premiere will air on October 6, 2024, on Colors TV and Jio Cinema from 9 pm onwards.
