In the recent Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 episode, a couple who won the Padma Shri award was shown to the audience. Watching their own video, Dr Abhay got emotional and recalled how his father, a Gold Medallist in Economics, used to help people in the rural area. His father chose to help people instead of going to the US for his higher education. Joining Dr Abhay was Dr Rani, who also revealed that the hospital they have founded focusses on helping those with specific needs. That’s when Amitabh Bachchan tried to lighten the mood. The Piku star asked Dr Abhay what his favourite dish is. To this, Abhay responds that he eats whatever Rani cooks. Rani mentioned that, as she’s from Telangana, she can cook various dishes.
Further, Dr Abhay asked the Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna star about his cooking skills. To this, Big B responded, “Sir, aapko toh chai banana aata hai, humko toh sirf garam paani banana aata hai, aur kuch nahi aata (sir, you know how to make tea; I just know how to boil water, nothing else).” Mr. Bachchan’s revelations made the audience laugh out loud.

Meanwhile, along with KBC, this year, Amitabh also won hearts with his performance as Ashwatthama in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. The film also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. Big B will be next seen in Tamil action drama Vettaiyan, which also stars Rajinikanth in the lead role.
