Sonam said that she never said that and she would address her in a deferential way, but would never call her aunty. If reports are to be believed then, Aishwarya was disappointed with her statements but Sonam did clarify that she did not mean to harm the actress. Aishwarya and Sonam had to together walk the ramp of the Cannes Film Festival in France. Aishwarya refused to walk with Sonam and had threatened that she will quit, if Sonam is allowed to share the platform with her.
