Munawar was forced to leave school after the 5th grade and he started working at a gift shop. He later helped his mother and grandmother in making and selling samosas and chaklis. His mother died by suicide when he was just 14 years old. He moved to Mumbai and did odd jobs. He lost his father in 2020. Munawar was married to Jasmine in 2017, but they divorced in 2022. Munawar is the father of a five-year-old son. Later, he started dating social media influencer Nazila Sitaishi.
