The advance booking for Devara has started and in 17 hours, it has seen a great result in Hyderabad. As per the reports, Jr NTR starrer has managed to earn Rs 9 crore on Day 1. There are still a few days for the movie’s release, yet the numbers look so promising and are only expected to grow further. In Vizag, the advance booking has reached Rs 1.75 crore, and the Telugu-speaking state (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) has made an advance booking collection of over Rs 12 crore at least. At least 61% of theatre capacity is already filled and it is only expected to get better. Further in this entertainment news, the numbers look promising even in Bengaluru (Rs 2,96,35,010), bringing the total in Karnataka to Rs 3,24,23,410 (36% seats booked). The power of Devara and Jr NTR’s stardom is also overpowering at the global level. In North America, the premiere pre-sales have crossed $2.1M. In the UK, the advance booking has crossed over 20K tickets and in Australia, it’s 250K Australian dollars. These are just the numbers of the advance bookings that have started in selected regions. The numbers are only expected to get better once the booking starts in the northern regions of India. After RRR, the moviegoing audience is looking forward to seeing Jr NTR in another action-packed, thrilling drama. Also, Saif Ali Khan’s villainous avatar as Bhaira has also caused a lot of excitement. The movie also marks Janhvi Kapoor’s Tollywood debut. The actress’ mother, Sridevi, has worked in several South Indian movies. For Kapoor, working in Devara felt like a homecoming.
