In a recent interview with India Today, Akshay shared that when he first started doing these films, many people, including his friends and critics, questioned why he would make movies about such topics. The Phir Hera Pheri star explained that some subjects are really good, and he enjoys making films that raise awareness. Akshay was asked why he was doing movies on sanitary pads (Padman) and toilets (Toilet: Ek Prem Katha). The actor stated how he was told doing a movie on sex was bad when he decided to do OMG 2, which is based on sex education. Up next, Akshay Kumar is all set to appear in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. The actor will reprise his role as Sooryavanshi in this high-octane cop action thriller. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, and is scheduled to hit theatres on November 1, 2024.
